- International Agreement Fulfillment: Managing Nigeria’s obligations under Bilateral Education Agreements (BEA) and Multilateral arrangements like the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan.
- Special Initiatives: Administering Presidential Scholarships for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) as well as the NYSC Ex-Corps Members Scholarship Program.
- Data Management: Gathering, organizing, analyzing, publishing, and distributing information on students, scholarships, and fellowships as they relate to Nigeria.
- Oversight: Overseeing and supporting the academic progress of Federal Government-sponsored students in both Nigerian and foreign institutions.
